Therapy for individuals
Customized treatment for your unique needs. Because when it comes to therapy, one size doesn’t fit all.
“Nothing can be changed until it is faced.”
— James Baldwin
To make lasting change, we have to look deep within and take action too.
I’m not a therapist who does a “how was your week?” check-in (even though I do care about your week!) We are here to achieve something that requires more profound work. We will search together to find the root of your suffering to begin the healing process.
Therapy is an invaluable investment of your money and time, AND it’s a two-way, collaborative process.
Here’s what you can expect from me:
I'm all in. If we're working together, I've got your back, and I will do everything within my power to help guide you.
I will be gentle but straight with you so that even if it pinches a bit, you'll know it's important to hear.
We're a team; I have expertise, but I'm not an expert in being you. That means that I will offer my knowledge and experience, and respect your right to decline it.
And here’s what I’ll expect from you:
You are an active participant in this process (that includes giving me feedback about how the therapy is going for you).
You’re willing to “go there” and look at your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, even though it will be challenging at times.
You bring your authentic self to our sessions.

— Glennon Doyle
Trauma Recovery
“So, how exactly do I change the past?”
We can't change the past, but we can change its impact by changing how you feel and think about yourself. Think of this as a kind of social justice for yourself. You deserve the opportunity to take back what you lost, and it is my honor to guide the way.
I specialize in helping people deal with grief, loss, and trauma. I hold certification in an approach called EMDR, a clinically-proven, structured approach to help you access the part of your brain that stores difficult or painful memories and reprocess them, so they no longer interfere with your life.
I also have training in psychedelic assisted psychotherapy through the Psychedelic Somatic Institute. This emerging and promising technique can be used with or without medicine, to reach deep areas that traditional talk therapy and EMDR can’t typically access.
“My work with Naomi was absolutely instrumental in making the key changes in my life that got me to my goals. I learned so much about myself and gained so much confidence in the process.”

Grief work
“And when the work of grieving is done,
The wound of loss will heal
And you will have learned
To wean your eyes
From that gap in the air
And be able to enter the hearth
In your soul where your loved one
Has awaited your return
All the time.”
John O’Donohue
You can learn to live after the unimaginable has happened.
Human beings are incredible. You may not feel this way right now (and that’s okay), but you can recover from something that you never thought you could. I know this because I’ve seen it happen time and again during my career, as I’ve helped people find meaning after the unthinkable has happened.
Maybe you are suffering after a traumatic event, such as the loss of a child. Or perhaps you’re trying to regain your balance after a breakup. Know that you don’t have to go through this alone. I will walk alongside you, unafraid of your pain, to help you move forward and create your new normal.
It's not time alone that changes things, but what you do with the time that makes the change.
If you’re ready, take the first step.
